Something a little different from the norm with thanks to NCE Energy Hub in Cork, when we were asked to insulate the attic in the North Cathedral.
There were incredible ceilings that were just too dangerous and awkward to roll, which left us only one real option. The Ursa Insulation was blown straight from the truck up the winding tower and into place. The rising attic walls have been insulated with rolled Ursa fiberglass. We were able to work safely with the help of harnesses and retractable lanyards in the high ceilings. The access wasn’t really suitable for carrying large amounts of materials up so this was the ideal solution with no mess or traffic in and out of the busy church.
