What’s Included?

When you choose a One Stop Shop home energy upgrade, you’ll get:

  • A home energy assessment
  • Management of your SEAI grant application

  • Coordination of qualified contractor works
  • A follow-up BER (Building Energy Rating) assessment

These upgrades are typically 45–50% funded, making it a powerful option for those planning multiple upgrades or seeking to achieve a minimum B2 BER rating.

Individual Energy Upgrade Grants

Prefer to manage the project yourself? The Individual Energy Upgrade Grants give you the flexibility to choose your own contractors and timeline. While this requires more involvement, it also gives you greater control.

What’s Included?

This option allows you to:

  • Choose and manage your own contractors
  • Handle the grant application process
  • Arrange the follow-up BER assessment

You’ll need to pay for the full cost upfront and then claim the grant afterward. Some measures are funded up to 80%, depending on the type of upgrade.
